I Found a New Hobby During Quarantine!

At first, I was happy because I could be boarding constantly. But, when entering the third week, I began to get bored.

As I am an introvert who really enjoys my own time, well, I am the happiest when I am alone. But, it turns out, too long to be alone is also boring.

So, I tried to find activities for me to do. Besides working on many assignments from campus, I also look for other activities. I cook, play games, and read some inspirational books. One of them is Mark Manson's best-selling book, 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck'.

The language that is easy to understand, to-the-point, and outspoken criticism about the way of looking at and how to live life becomes a dish that I personally think is very entertaining as well as forming a mindset to be more courageous and confident in facing anything.

I am sure, when you see the title, you certainly know that the theme discussed is indeed blunt, and explicitly invites readers to be 'not giving a f*ck' about things that are an obstacle to achieving various goals in life.

Masterpiece, incredibly funny. I don't usually go for self-help books cause to me they are all the same! Smile more, love more, hate less, don't give up, it's gonna be okay, it's all in your head. Blah blah blah.... but this one was the exception. Anything with curse words on the cover picks my interest. The first half of it was my favorite, the aim of this book is to help the reader to think a little bit more clearly about what they’re choosing to find important in life and what they’re choosing to find unimportant.

In addition, I also gained various new information about the world of books during this quarantine period. At that time I was working on a Cultural Studies essay plan and I needed a lot of references to complete it. I also tried to ask my friend who is also a student of Literature but from a different department. He comes from Indonesian Literature. At that time I asked him whether he had a book about Cultural Studies (in Indonesian: Cultural Studies) or not. Unfortunately, he did not have. However, he gave me the advice to search for the iPusnas application, and I got the book I needed.

From iPusnas, I got a number of books, one of which is 'Most Wanted Blogging Tips' by Ridwan Sanjaya. Actually, I'm currently reading and haven't finished it yet. In my opinion, this is a book that is worth reading by bloggers in the country. Extraordinary tips desired by many bloggers are discussed in an interesting way.
